Philippians 4:5
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
O my dear Father, help me to remember to consult You before I attempt to communicate by text or message or word, especially when it concerns old, unresolved issues. Help me to be content with whatever it is I have left, for I know I don't really need anything that You have not seen fit to provide me at the moment. Remind me of all Your abundant blessings that You have already lavished upon me.
Keep me always mindful of You and Your ways, the way You love me, and are always so gentle with me. Help me to be increasingly each day more like You.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
