Judges 14: 6, 19
At that moment the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon [Samson], and he ripped the lion's jaws apart with his bare hands. He did it as easily as if it were a young goat. ... Then the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully on him. He went down to the town of Ashkelon, killed thirty men, took their belongings, and gave their clothing to the men who had solved his riddle.
Samson was a super hero, having super-human strength when the Spirit of the Lord came upon him. But his moral character was not what we would recognize as godly. His failings were great and frequent and led to his eventual demise, yet God used him powerfully.
I do not have to be perfect for God to use me, either, just available and clean.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
